Crestwood Community Kids Jiu-Jitsu Basics Class

Bairro Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is excited to announce a collaboration with the Crestwood Community Centre to present Jiu-Jitsu Basics for Kids!


Throughout the month of May, we will offer two classes: Anti-Bullying (for kids ages 5-10 to do alone or with parents) and Jiu-Jitsu Basics (for kids ages 10-14). 

No experience or special equipment is required! Just come wearing comfortable clothes and our expert staff will provide the rest. 

What is jiu-jitsu? 
Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling martial art based on takedowns, ground control, and submissions. What makes it unique in the martial arts space is the lack of striking. Our classes won't involve punching or kicking. Instead, we'll teach kids how to use leverage and technique to their advantage, giving them tools to stay safe. Plus, it's a lot of fun and safe to practice!

May 9: Anti-Bulling (10:00-11:00 am), Jiu-Jitsu Basics (11:30 am-12:30 pm) 
May 16: Anti-Bulling (10:00-11:00 am), Jiu-Jitsu Basics (11:30 am-12:30 pm) 
May 17: Anti-Bulling (10:00-11:00 am), Jiu-Jitsu Basics (11:30 am-12:30 pm) 
May 24: Anti-Bulling (10:00-11:00 am), Jiu-Jitsu Basics (11:30 am-12:30 pm) 

Single day registration is available or get the full experience and register your kids for all classes in their age group.
